Are you a Prescribing Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in a remote GP surgery setting? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility on a remote basis!

Job Title: Independent Prescriber Pharmacist

Location: Remote - GP Surgery Based (EMIS Web experience and own laptop access required to work remotely)

Duration: 3 Months (Strong Possibility of Extension)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (30 mins lunch) although part-time considered!

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: Ongoing (Initial 3 Months)

Rate of Pay: £30 - £36 per hour (via Umbrella, Inside IR35)

What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as an Independent Prescriber Pharmacist and play a key role in supporting primary care services across the UK. In this role, you will:

1. Handle repeat prescribing processes and reauthorisations
2. Conduct medication reviews, including high-risk drugs
3. Optimise prescribing practices to improve patient outcomes
4. Support clinical teams remotely via EMIS Web
5. Ensure accurate and thorough clinical documentation

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A registered pharmacist qualification with independent prescriber status
2. Strong experience with EMIS Web (must have own access and laptop)
3. Previous experience in GP surgery or primary care setting
4. Excellent clinical communication and prescribing skills
5. Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a flexible remote working position requiring availability across the week, with some flexibility in working hours. The contract is for 3 months initially, with a strong likelihood of extension based on service demand and performance.
