Escape Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a Procurement Lead for a global pharmaceutical business. This hybrid role offers one on-site day per month in Dundee and oversees direct materials, indirect spend and services while owning supplier relationships and commercial negotiations.

You will drive cost savings and supplier performance, working with Supply Chain, Finance and Quality to meet regulatory requirements (GMP/FDA). Experience in regulated environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical procurement in regulated environments.
• Direct materials and supplier management experience.
• Knowledge of GMP and FDA regulations.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of cost savings.
• Experience working with global suppliers and mitigating supply chain risks.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activity across direct materials, indirect spend and services.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure pricing, quality and reliable supply.
• Build and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Drive cost savings, continuous improvement and best practice across procurement processes.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities to improve service and terms.
• Identify and manage supply chain risks and alternative sourcing options.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Quality and other stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Support sourcing projects, tenders and wider procurement initiatives.
