REMOTE PAYROLL COORDINATOR START DATE 12th MAY

INITIAL ASSIGNMENT: 8 WEEKS

GBP15.50 PER HOUR (GBP30,225 annual salary equivalent)

Our global client in Professional Services is seeking a Remote Payroll Coordinator to join their Payroll team for an initial 8-week temporary contract. The role involves supporting the compliant delivery of payroll and benefits across the UK and 7 international payrolls.

The position is REMOTE/home-based, but candidates must be based in the UK and available to start on Monday, 12th May. Working hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, with a 4:00 pm finish on Fridays.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the delivery of multiple payrolls for approximately 700 employees, including international payrolls in China, India, UAE, Ireland, and Turkey.
  • Completing payroll activities such as managing status changes, onboarding new starters, processing leavers, and handling adjustments like holiday pay, maternity/paternity leave, and overtime calculations.
  • Partnering with the HR team to support their benefits programs, including providing calculations for new and existing initiatives.
  • Supporting submissions and reporting to external entities such as HMRC, tax professionals, and auditors.
  • Assisting with annual exercises such as bonuses, LTIP, living wage, PSA, and company car activities.
Experience
  • Proven experience in delivering compliant payroll cycles.
  • Experience managing end-to-end payroll processes from an in-house perspective.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems; Sage experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to successful delivery.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles, ERP systems, journals, and accruals.
  • Ability to work remotely, being highly self-motivated and organized to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities at all levels.
