Job summary

Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL) is recruiting a Payroll Advisor to deliver an accurate and timely payroll service for colleagues across GFSL. You will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, supporting the Payroll Supervisor, and managing payroll activity throughout the monthly cycle.

This is a remote, permanent role (39 hours per week) within a public sector framework. The post requires attention to detail, strong communication, and knowledge of Oracle Fusion payroll; the team

Qualifications

• Payroll experience in a professional setting.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and controls.
• Ability to apply HR and payroll policies accurately.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion payroll (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure monthly payroll is processed accurately and on time.
• Input and validate payroll data to ensure correct payments.
• Support audits and checks on data accuracy.
• Carry out overtime and absence audit work and report findings.
• Contribute to payroll communications with HR and staff.
• Provide guidance on complex payroll queries.
• Produce payroll data and insights for reporting.
• Maintain data in Oracle Fusion per GDPR.
• Distribute monthly payslips for GFSL colleagues.
• Log overpayments and arrange recovery with employees.
