A leading company seeks a dedicated Remote Personal Assistant to support a semi-retired entrepreneur. We are delighted to be working with a highly accomplished and inspiring entrepreneur to recruit a dedicated and proactive Remote Personal Assistant to support her across both professional and personal matters. The principal, now semi-retired from a successful corporate career, continues to manage a family office and oversee a portfolio of global business and investment interests.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and exceptionally organised Personal Assistant to work independently and become a trusted right-hand, providing seamless support to a dynamic and discerning individual. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to anticipate needs with minimal supervision.
The position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in the UK. While there is some flexibility, the principal is ideally seeking someone who can work 3–4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with those hours falling between 8:00am and 2:00pm. A consistent routine is preferred to ensure alignment with the principal and her household team.
This role offers a competitive hourly rate, the flexibility of working from home, and a work laptop will be provided. It’s an excellent opportunity for a committed professional seeking a long-term working relationship with a thoughtful and well-respected principal.
DUTIES INCLUDE
• Managing a busy and constantly changing calendar; coordinating calls, meetings, and appointments across multiple time zones
• Planning and booking complex domestic and international travel, including flights, transfers, accommodation, itineraries, and VIP services
• Acting as a point of contact with long-standing household staff in the UK and overseas, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration
• Drafting and replying to emails, managing communications, and flagging priority items.
• Organising appointments, researching and booking services (restaurants, salons, health and wellness), managing gift procurement, and handling ad hoc personal errands
• Maintaining accurate records, files, and contact lists while ensuring utmost confidentiality
• Supporting the principal with occasional project-based tasks, such as event planning or investment follow-ups
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar high-level Personal Assistant role
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Adaptable and able to align quickly with the principal’s established systems and preferences
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and discreet with excellent common sense
• Tech-savvy with excellent communication skills and confidence working virtually
• Experience using SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Word, PDF and Excel is essential
• Experience with PowerPoint and OneNote is desirable
• Comfortable with the responsibilities and expectations of supporting a high-achieving individual
• Trustworthy, reliable, and capable of maintaining strict confidentiality at all times
• Available during core working hours (8:00am – 2:00pm)
• Willing to be self-employed during an initial probation period
• Strong, verifiable references
