Job summary

DEPT½ is seeking an Account Lead, Paid Social, to lead strategic paid media with end-to-end responsibility for complex social campaigns. You will drive advanced paid social strategies, mentor teams, and translate performance insights into clear roadmaps and client narratives.

You will coach and onboard teammates, align priorities with client objectives, and set standards for paid social excellence while ensuring profitable growth for clients and the agency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in paid social advertising and at least 2 years in management.
• Proven track record scaling paid social programs for enterprise or complex clients.
• Deep proficiency with Meta Ads Manager and ability to communicate goals to clients.
• Excellent organizational, strategic, and communication skills across multiple projects.
• Ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Proven capability to execute strategic paid social plans aligned with client goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead channel-specific Paid Social strategy across Meta Ads to drive client KPIs.
• Be the day-to-day Meta Ads contact for a large complex client account.
• Own the Meta Ads roadmap, align tests with client priorities and creative strategy.
• Stay updated on paid social trends and translate them into client guidance.
• Establish, enforce, and evolve paid social processes and best practices.
• Prioritize projects and tests through clear dialogue with team and client.
• Serve as senior point person for test recommendations and measurement.
• Build and lead high-performing teams, coaching managers and fostering collaboration.
