Job summary

Maze is an AI-native cybersecurity company. This role takes a big chunk of the VP Operations’ workload and, over time, runs it better than he does.

The work splits three ways: payments, compliance, and team logistics—plus the in-house AI tooling that automates much of it. You’ll own the recurring money rhythm and the offsite planning.

There is real growth here and exposure to board-level decisions, with a tooling stack that automates many day-to-day tasks and expands as you scale.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years actually running operational processes.
• Worked somewhere small (roughly under 200 people).
• Track record of dull work done well.
• Precision when the volume is high.
• Comfortable with AI tools.
• Good at managing yourself remotely.
• Safe with handling sensitive material.

Responsibilities

• Run the weekly money rhythm: invoice intake, payment runs, expense triage, payroll support.
• Own the compliance calendar: filings, per-hire registrations, renewals, sponsorship reporting.
• Run and extend the AI stack: in-house tooling for contract review, document generation, sourcing, digests.
• Turn deal paperwork around fast: forms, NDAs, e-signature estate, end-to-end processing.
• Handle security questionnaires and procurement portals: run the AI answer library and meet portal deadlines.
• Run the offsites and team logistics: quarterly events across Europe/US, vendor contracts, travel.
• Back up the sales team on ops: scheduling, CRM hygiene, and operational questions from deals.
• Write down how Maze operates: publish playbooks and manage the ops request queue.
