Job description

Health and Disability Assessor

Location: Remote home-based

Contract: Full-time or part-time, permanent

Salary: £37,500

A well-regarded organisation is seeking experienced Nurses, Paramedics, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists who want a fresh way to make a difference without giving up their registration or compassion.

This is your chance to move into a non-treatment clinical role that balances purpose with lifestyle. If you've got at least a year's post-registration experience in the UK, this could be the career move you didn't know you were waiting for.

The Role In a Nutshell

As a Health and Disability Assessor, you'll carry out structured conversations and evaluations—not clinical treatments—to understand how individuals are impacted by their physical or mental health conditions. Using your assessment skills, you'll produce clear, thoughtful reports that help shape fair outcomes.

All assessments follow a functional model, focusing on what someone can do, not just what they can't.

Why Apply?

  • Specialist training and 1:1 coaching from Day 1
  • Up to 10% performance bonus, paid quarterly
  • Private medical insurance and pension scheme
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Paid CPD time and registration fee reimbursement
  • Flexible hybrid or remote working
  • Options to grow into leadership, quality, or training roles
  • Access to lifestyle perks and retail discounts
What You'll Need

  • NMC or HCPC registration (Nurse, Physio, Paramedic, or OT)
  • Minimum 12 months UK-based post-registration experience
  • Strong clinical judgement and documentation skills
  • Empathy, objectivity, and a willingness to learn
  • Comfortable working with a variety of health conditions

This role isn't about treating; it's about listening, observing, understanding, and informing decisions that change lives. And with no nights, weekends, or on-call duties, you get your life back too.

Please note we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.

If you're ready for a rewarding role where you can use your clinical expertise in a fresh and engaging way, we'd love to hear from you.
