Oscar seeks an experienced .NET Developer to design and maintain applications using C# and ASP.NET. Work on REST APIs, microservices, and SQL Server databases within an agile team. Flexible working from Hull or fully remote across the UK.

Qualifications

• 3+ years commercial experience with C#
• Strong experience with ASP.NET, .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Experience with SQL Server and database design
• Experience designing REST APIs and microservices
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Azure experience (desirable)
• Blazor experience (desirable)
• Entity Framework or EF Core experience (desirable)
• Experience with AI or machine learning integrations (desirable)
• Docker and containerisation experience (desirable)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps (desirable)
• Git version control experience (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using C# and ASP.NET
• Build scalable solutions using .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices
• Work with SQL Server databases, writing efficient queries and optimising performance
• Collaborate with developers, testers and stakeholders in an Agile environment
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical best practice
• Support continuous improvement of existing applications and development processes
• Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including technical discussions, system performance improvements and future architecture planning
