Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a .NET Developer in the United Kingdom to design and build scalable enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core. You will work on backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices within an Agile team, leveraging Azure cloud and DevOps practices.

You will optimize SQL Server databases, implement data access with EF and LINQ, and ensure secure, high-performance software.

Qualifications

• Experience with C# and .NET Core (NET 6+).
• Design and implement RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Core.
• Strong SQL Server design, queries, and performance tuning.
• EF and LINQ for data access.
• Git and version control workflows.
• CI/CD and Azure DevOps familiarity.
• Azure cloud services knowledge and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, and modern .NET versions.
• Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Develop and integrate microservices to support modular, scalable architectures.
• Design, manage, and optimize SQL Server databases, including structures and performance.
• Use EF and LINQ to implement data access and processing solutions.
• Apply OOP principles, patterns, and best practices for clean code.
• Implement secure coding practices and optimize performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure quality.
• Support deployment and CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Leverage Microsoft Azure services for cloud-based development and deployment.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to lifecycle improvements.
• Use Git for source control and team collaboration.
