Job summary

ARC IT Recruitment is seeking a Mobile App Tech Lead to own the React Native architecture for iOS and Android, with responsibility across the mobile product portfolio. This is a remote contract with a day rate of £700-£750, outside IR35, initial 12 months with extensions.

The role requires hands-on background to review code and guide performance, security and scalability, while leading a high-visibility release with vendor partners and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading the architecture and delivery of React Native apps for iOS and Android.
• Strong architectural leadership and governance across mobile platforms.
• Excellent communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Owning mobile architecture, integration and engineering governance end to end.
• Reviewing external vendor delivery: solution quality, technical risk, and code review where needed.
• Acting as the link between the delivery partner and internal backend teams, agreeing API contracts.
• Leading technical discovery with Product, BAs and designers.
• Defining the mobile testing strategy and overseeing quality controls.
