Job summary

Scale is seeking a Medical Fellow for the Human Frontier Collective Fellowship. This fully remote, independent contractor role in the United Kingdom lasts six months with potential extension. Authorized to work in the country you reside in is required.

You will engage with top researchers to design and evaluate advanced AI healthcare systems, joining a global interdisciplinary network. MD/DO with board certification is mandatory; residents and experienced clinicians are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Medical degree required (MD, DO) with board certification.
• Open to residents, practicing clinicians, or those with extensive clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on high-impact projects with AI labs; design and evaluate medical AI scenarios.
• Join the HFC community and engage in an interdisciplinary network of innovators.
• Assess model decision-making for safety and accuracy in clinical contexts.
• Contribute to education and writing; demonstrate strong clinical reasoning in complex cases.
• Maintain a detail-oriented, innovative mindset with collaborative approach.
