Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Expert and AI Content Specialist to help build rigorous test materials for advanced AI models. This is a remote, hourly contract (10–40 hours/week) with flexible scheduling and global collaboration across top research labs.

You’ll design complex engineering problems, author gold-standard solutions, and audit AI reasoning against ASME/ISO standards, while maintaining high accuracy and clear technical writing. Master’s or PhD preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Master’s or PhD in Mechanical or related field.
• Strong foundations in solid/fluid mechanics or thermodynamics.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in writing.
• Detail-oriented with rigorous review of derivations and units.

Responsibilities

• Design complex engineering problems spanning FEA, heat transfer, kinematics, fluid dynamics, and related fields.
• Author precise, step-by-step technical solutions and benchmark AI learning references.
• Audit AI reasoning for accuracy, safety, and compliance with ASME/ISO standards.
• Identify and correct errors in AI reasoning and provide structured feedback to improve model performance.
