Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking experienced Mechanical Engineering AI Experts for a remote contract role. You will review AI-generated engineering content, solve mechanical problems and create assessments while evaluating CAD models and technical documentation.

The ideal candidate has 4–5+ years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience (or advanced degree) and strong CAD/FEA skills. Projects are remote with rapid onboarding and variable compensation.

Qualifications

• A degree, MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or recognised qualification.
• Typically 4–5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical problem‑solving ability.
• Experience with CAD, FEA or technical documentation.
• Experience with SolidWorks, NX, Creo, CATIA, ANSYS, Abaqus or Nastran.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing AI-generated engineering answers for technical accuracy.
• Solving mechanical engineering problems.
• Creating technical questions, assessments and grading criteria.
• Reviewing CAD models, drawings and technical documentation.
• Analysing test data, sensors, instrumentation and failure reports.
• Producing clear explanations of engineering reasoning.
• Supporting AI training with realistic engineering scenarios and content.
