Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Lead Project Manager to spearhead a remote team delivering complex software solutions. You will define methodologies, mentor staff, and align portfolios with business goals, driving Agile adoption at scale.

The role requires 10+ years in project management with a focus on software, strong leadership, and superb communication for remote collaboration across diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project management with 7+ years in software projects.
• 3+ years in Lead Project Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methods and scaling them.
• Deep understanding of SDLC and software delivery.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and remote collaboration.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of large software projects.
• Define and refine PM methodologies and standards.
• Ensure adoption of Agile principles within teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, and stakeholders to define scope.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and impediments.
• Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and team performance.
• Establish clear communication with stakeholders and leadership.
• Develop and deliver project status reports and dashboards.
• Champion quality, collaboration, and accountability in PM.
• Contribute to portfolio planning and strategic decisions.
