Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Lead Software Engineer to drive the embedded software strategy for electric drive systems. You will shape architecture, lead a team of engineers, and coordinate with hardware and controls for cohesive product delivery.

You will oversee end-to-end verification, validation, and release, ensuring performance, safety, and regulatory alignment across projects. Remote working is available within the UK.

Qualifications

• Expertise in embedded software for electric drive systems (BSW, app software, motor control, DC-DC).
• Strong planning, documentation, organisation, and delivery management capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead software engineering teams and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of embedded software for electric drive systems.
• Define and maintain software architecture aligned with requirements.
• Mentor software engineers and drive best practices across processes.
• Oversee software verification, validation, and release with full traceability.
