Energy Jobline ZR in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to take concepts from whiteboard sketches through to manufactured products. You will join a multidisciplinary team, driving hands-on electronics design and embedded software work across diverse, international projects.

The role emphasizes practical electronics, proactive problem solving, and opportunities to grow into technical leadership while staying technically involved in product development.

Qualifications

Commercial experience designing electronic systems.
Embedded software development experience.
Strong practical electronics skills.
Hands-on engineering and problem solving.
Good communication skills and ability to work across disciplines.
Strong academic background in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

Electronic circuit design and development.
Embedded software development (C/C++).
Prototyping, testing and problem solving.
Working as part of multidisciplinary product development teams.
Supporting products from concept through to manufacture.
Presenting technical progress internally and to customers.
Increasing involvement in technical leadership and project ownership as your role develops.
