Job summary

Xpertise is seeking a Lead Dynamics 365 CE Developer to act as technical lead for the Dynamics 365 CE platform on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is remote with UK-based collaboration and will involve shaping technical direction across the organisation.

You will design and implement plugins and workflows in C#/.NET, review code, embed engineering standards, and line-manage a small team of data engineers while addressing risks and data integration challenges.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading or mentoring engineers.
• Strong hands-on work with Dynamics 365 CE/Dataverse.
• Experience building C#/.NET plugins and custom workflows.
• Ability to set technical direction and review designs and code.
• Experience managing Dynamics solutions across environments.
• Good understanding of integration patterns and data flows.
• Ability to identify risks and challenge poor technical decisions.
• Experience in Agile teams using Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Own the Dynamics 365 CE platform and set technical direction.
• Design and develop plugins, workflows, and integrations using C#/.NET.
• Review code and designs to improve quality and consistency.
• Define and embed engineering standards for Dynamics 365 CE delivery.
• Line-manage a small team of data engineers and set priorities.
• Identify risks and platform limitations early and raise them.
