Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Lead Data Scientist for Customer Loyalty, Incrementality and Value Measurement on a 12-month contract. The role is remote in the UK, with Inside IR35 via umbrella. Start ASAP, 40 hrs per week.

You will own analytics spanning customer and transaction data, CLV/RFM segmentation, and value estimates, delivering production-ready insights and dashboards. The ideal candidate has strong SQL/Python, experience with Databricks/PySpark, data governance, and familiarity with Delta

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL for high-volume customer, payment, loyalty and transaction analysis.
• Python-based statistical analysis for cohort and uplift modelling.
• Hands-on Databricks/Spark or PySpark notebooks and Delta tables workflows.
• Git/Azure DevOps with PRs and controlled production changes.
• Strong data-validation, reconciliation and audit-trail practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Scientist role focusing on SCI/customer analytics, incrementality and CLV/RFM.
• Bridge between SCI customer and transaction data with governance.
• Develop reproducible data products and productionised analytics.
