Job summary

Intec Select Limited is seeking a Lead Technical Architect for an AI Platform in a Central Government context. You will set the architecture roadmap, design secure landing zones, and build robust, vendor-neutral AI integrations with strong governance and DPIA practices.

You will guide delivery teams and explain risk to senior leaders. The role requires hands-on experience with GCP/AWS, IAM, modular API design, and public-sector security standards, plus excellent communication to coach engineers

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading GCP or AWS platform architecture.
• Hands-on with deterministic AI safety controls and identity management.
• Design modular, vendor-neutral systems with clear API layers.
• Experience with government governance, DPIAs and NCSC standards.
• Strong communicator with proven coaching ability.

Responsibilities

• Set architecture roadmap and principles for the AI platform.
• Design secure Cloud Landing Zones and vendor-neutral integrations.
• Build AI guardrails including human-in-the-loop gates and PII masking.
• Lead through design authority processes, DPIA, and cyber assurance.
• Explain trade-offs to leaders and coach delivery teams.
