We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Law Costs Draftsperson to join our clients growing team to work on a fully remote basis. Job Title – Law Costs Draftsperson

Hours - Full Time / Part Time - Flexible Hours

Location – Fully Remote

About the Role

• Drafting bills of costs for various cases, including PI claims, industrial disease claims, commercial matters, clinical negligence claims, and credit claims.
• Preparing schedules of costs and statements for trial.
• Providing cost advice to clients in writing or via telephone regarding settlement recovery or technical issues.
• Drafting and negotiating Cost Budgets, and preparing documentation for the CCMC. Attending CCMC/CMC hearings for advocacy related to Cost Budgets and/or directions.
• Conducting regular file reviews and utilising Proclaim to ensure timely progression of matters. Meeting daily chargeable time targets and yearly billing targets set by a Manager.

Experience Required:

• Proven experience in cost drafting, with a comprehensive understanding of various case types
• Proficiency in using a case management system and Costs Master (cost drafting software)
