Viator, a Tripadvisor company, is seeking a Remote Software Engineer II with iOS experience to join our Viator team. The role emphasizes end-to-end feature work, with a modern tech stack including Swift, SwiftUI, Combine and GraphQL. We embrace a remote-first model with periodic in-person gatherings near UK offices.

You will collaborate with global teams to ship features daily, touching code across the stack and taking ownership from design to deployment and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience developing an iOS app and familiarity with mobile web and back-end tech would be beneficial.
• At least 3 years of commercial software development, ideally with a rich UI.
• Experience with reactive programming in native mobile platforms.
• Willingness to take on new technologies.
• Ability to break down complex problems into simple solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sense of ownership and pride in your work.

Responsibilities

• Code across the stack with emphasis on app development, and opportunities to work on backend microservices.
• Collaborate with Product and design to define feature specs and deliver high-quality outputs for users.
• Take responsibility for design, implementation, QA, and maintenance of software.
