Job summary

PohWER is seeking an Independent Advocate to support vulnerable adults in the North Lincolnshire area. The role focuses on advocacy, rights, and ensuring voices are heard. Travel and home-based work are required, with training provided and DBS checks completed.

The position emphasizes strong communication, IT proficiency, and the ability to manage sensitive information while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and time management to work remotely.
• Excellent IT skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to learn client management databases and other software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver persuasive verbal and written representations for clients.
• Collaborate with public and voluntary organisations.
• Take directed actions to address client issues.
• Work flexibly in a home-based role with travel as required.
