Job Description:

Lawyers MUST be UK-based and qualified in England & Wales.

A large UK charity is seeking a senior (8+ PQE) commercial property lawyer to join its property team. The role can be performed remotely, with optional office attendance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading on complex property transactions involving the charity's land.
  • Advising on commercial property matters including leases, development, utilities, and infrastructure.
  • Drafting and negotiating property documentation.
  • Mentoring junior team members.
  • Managing external legal counsel.
  • Mitigating risks related to property matters.
  • Ensuring compliance with organisational policies and legal obligations.

The ideal candidate will have substantial post-qualification experience, strong technical knowledge of land law, and excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. An interest in environmental matters is also desirable.

The role offers a salary of approximately £55,000 per annum, along with benefits, within a collaborative and flexible working environment.
