Job summary

Oculus Legal Group is seeking a Contract & Commercial Litigation Solicitor, FCILEx to join its established Civil Litigation team in a leading national law firm. The role involves handling own caseload on fast, intermediate and multi-track disputes for claimants and defendants, with exposure to both privately funded and insured matters.

You will work on a varied caseload, including disputes from sale of goods and services and other contractual litigation.

Qualifications

• Experience handling own caseload of contract or commercial disputes.
• Experience with Fast and Multi-Track litigation.
• Strong legal knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload from instruction through to resolution.
• Handling Fast, Intermediate and Multi-Track claims.
• Advising individual and commercial clients.
• Dealing with clients by telephone and face-to-face.
• Progressing matters using the firm's case management system.
• Billing and invoicing.
• Working to tight deadlines and managing competing priorities.
