The National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux is seeking a Home Visiting Caseworker to deliver advice across benefits and debt/money matters. This permanent, part-time role (14.8 hours per week) is office-based with hybrid/remote options and may involve travel for training and client visits in Oxfordshire.

You will prepare and present cases for tribunals, support clients, maintain case records, and ensure compliance with standards. Training is provided.

Qualificações

• Office-based role with occasional home visits within Oxfordshire.
• Full training provided to perform casework and advice duties.
• Ability to prepare and present cases to tribunals and courts as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advice across generalist areas and casework on Benefits and Debt/Money Advice.
• Prepare and present cases to tribunals and negotiate with third parties.
• Assist clients by drafting letters, making calls, and calculating figures.
• Support colleagues and volunteers and refer to specialists when needed.
• Maintain case records for continuity, retrieval, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Office Manual, Advice Quality Standard, and FCA where relevant.
• Make home/outreach visits as necessary.
