Alignerr is seeking a Hospital Health Data Governance Lead (AI Training) to drive governance across hospital health data used in AI development. This fully remote hourly contract role offers flexible 10-40 hours per week and the chance to influence data accuracy, privacy, and clinical relevance at scale.

You will define standards, evaluate data inputs for model training, and collaborate across clinical, IT and compliance teams to close governance gaps and ensure compliant, meaningful data for AI

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in healthcare data governance and data quality.
• Strong knowledge of privacy and regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA.
• Ability to document findings and recommendations clearly.
• Comfort working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and risk assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce data governance standards for hospital health records.
• Evaluate and improve quality of healthcare data inputs used in AI model training.
• Review clinical and operational data workflows to identify governance gaps.
• Work across clinical, IT and compliance domains to align data policies.
• Assess data readiness for analytical, regulatory, and AI-specific use cases.
• Provide structured feedback on data quality, governance maturity and risk.
• Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule.
