Job summary

Activate Group Limited is seeking a Business Development Director to drive profitable growth. You will own new business development with motor insurers and brokers, while leading a small team focused on client relationships and marketing.

The role requires strategic account management, renewal leadership, and cross-functional collaboration across the UK. The position is home-based with nationwide travel, offering development and progression opportunities within a growing UK business that values

Qualifications

Proven experience in new business development with motor insurers and brokers.
Strong understanding of motor claims, repair networks, and the accident management lifecycle.
Track record of winning and growing major accounts, delivering revenue and margin targets.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at senior/board level.
Experience leading people and managing cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Build a strong pipeline from prospecting to close and contract.
Work with marketing to create presentations and materials for new business wins.
Attend industry events to promote Activate Collision Solutions and its proposition.
Retain and develop a portfolio of insurer/broker clients with senior-level engagement.
Lead renewals, negotiations, and tenders to protect and grow commercial terms.
Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to inform account strategy.
