NHS Jobs in Farnborough seeks a Clinical Coder/GP Assistant for a 25-hour weekly contract with remote or onsite options. You will code clinical information, update patient records and support GPs to deliver efficient patient care.

Requirements include GCSE English and Maths, 3+ years in healthcare, strong IT skills (Word/Excel) and experience with EMIS/SystmOne. Training and development are provided.

Formación

• GCSE, or equivalent, in English and Maths.
• Experience in clinical coding.
• At least 3 years in a healthcare setting.
• Good understanding of primary care.
• Strong IT skills including Word and Excel.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Able to work independently and manage own workload.
• Confident communicator and team player.
• Willing to undertake relevant training and development.
• Flexible approach to work when required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical coding and admin support for the GP practice.
• Review and code clinical correspondence with SNOMED CT.
• Update EMIS Web / SystmOne patient records.
• Process hospital letters and other clinical documents.
• Support GP and healthcare team with admin workflows.
• Assist with recalls, chronic disease registers and monitoring.
• Ensure data protection and GDPR compliance.
