Job summary

Abcam, part of the Danaher family, is seeking a Global Events Manager to lead end-to-end planning and execution of worldwide events. This remote role reports to the Director of Global Events and sits within the Marketing Team, partnering with regional and global stakeholders to amplify Abcam’s brand and drive engagement.

You will develop event marketing strategies, manage budgets, and ensure exceptional attendee experiences while aligning initiatives with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications required.
• Proven experience in project and budget management.
• Experience in biotech, specialized in events.
• Knowledge of latest technology for events automation and customer experience.
• Proficiency in analytics and ROI reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of global events, managing logistics, operations, vendor relations, budgeting and onsite delivery.
• Develop and execute integrated event marketing strategies to drive awareness, registration and engagement.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, product and regional teams to align events with business priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Ensure brand consistency and customer affinity through authentic event experiences reflecting company values.
• Leverage customer insights and market trends to design programs delivering value to target audiences.
