Job summary

Pearson is seeking International A-Level Geography Examiners to mark candidates' responses in line with the predefined mark scheme. Most subjects will be marked onscreen using ePEN, which can be done from home; a few subjects are still marked in the traditional method, using paper scripts posted through the post.

A high level of subject knowledge is required to apply the mark scheme. The marking period is May–July, with training between May and June.

Qualifications

• One academic year's teaching experience within the last 8 years.
• Experience in the relevant qualification and subject.
• A degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Mark accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained.
• Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times.
• Meet milestones for marking and complete administration as specified.
