Job summary

Smart Communications is seeking an experienced full stack developer to help build and scale our enterprise-grade customer engagement platform. This remote role offers occasional visits to our Covent Garden office, and a highly competitive salary.

You will own features from conception to production, collaborate with product management, and contribute to a robust test suite and CI/CD pipeline. We value fast learners who thrive in Agile teams, with strong software fundamentals across Java/Spring,

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot for building enterprise-grade platforms.
• Proven ability to ship product features at scale and maintainable code.
• Ability to own roadmap items end-to-end in an Agile environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and domain knowledge quickly.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated tests alongside changes.
• Support less experienced engineers and contribute to codebase onboarding.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies: stand-ups, planning, demos, retrospectives.
