Job Title: Remote Frontend Developer (UK-Based)

Location: Remote (UK-based candidates only)

Job Overview

As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for translating design wireframes into high-quality, responsive code. You'll work closely with our product designers, backend developers, and other team members to build beautiful, functional interfaces for web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)

Convert UI/UX design wireframes to functional user interfaces

Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services

Optimise applications for speed, scalability, and accessibility

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement

Stay updated with the latest trends in frontend development

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Frontend Developer (2+ years preferred)

Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript

Experience with frameworks/libraries such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular

Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git)

Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services

Ability to work independently and manage time in a remote environment

Excellent communication skills

Must be based in the UK and eligible to work without sponsorship

Nice to Have

Experience with Next.js or Nuxt.js

Familiarity with testing libraries like Jest or Cypress

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps basics

Experience with Figma or Adobe XD for interpreting design specs

Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) standards
