K Buckinghamshire Mind is seeking a Friends in Need Coordinator to run their peer support service in Bracknell. This part-time role (26 hours per week) offers a permanent contract and involves engaging local communities to support people in managing their mental health.

You will co-ordinate activities, promote wellbeing initiatives, and build strong partnerships with local services to ensure safe, inclusive and effective support for service users across Bracknell and surrounding areas.

Formación

• Experience supporting adults with mental health difficulties
• Ability to form positive relationships with service users
• Time management and prioritisation of workload

Responsabilidades

• Engage people with mental health difficulties across the area
• Maintain a timetable of group activities and promote opportunities
• Promote the Five Ways to Wellbeing to support recovery
• Help develop and run social groups and exercise events
• Ensure safety of events and groups
• Coordinate partnerships to develop and improve the service
