Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a CAD-focused engineer to train and evaluate AI agents operating inside a CAD environment on extended engineering tasks. You will design part geometry, create reference solutions, and assess agent iterations in collaboration with CFD engineers.

The role requires an engineering degree with 5+ years of hands-on CAD modelling across major platforms, plus an active CAD licence. Proficiency in Python and GitHub is expected. Fully remote work is possible.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, Master’s or PhD a plus.
• 5+ years CAD modelling experience with CATIA/SolidWorks/Siemens NX/Creo or similar.
• Active professional CAD licence required.
• Familiarity with Python and GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate AI agents that operate inside a CAD environment on long engineering tasks.
• Design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent’s attempts.
• Collaborate with CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you build.
