Job summary

Red King Resourcing is seeking an experienced Freelance Architect or Architectural Technologist to support design studios on UK projects, focusing on production packages, detailing, and planning submissions. You will deliver 2D CAD drawings and 3D Revit models across RIBA stages 2-5, coordinate with structural and MEP consultants, and ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations.

Candidates must be ARB/RIBA or CIAT-qualified, proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD, and able to work remotely or

Qualifications

ARB/RIBA or CIAT qualification required.
Hands-on production with Revit and/or AutoCAD on UK projects.
Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes.
Ability to work with minimal oversight and hit ground running.
Excellent communication and collaboration with studio teams.
Own hardware/setup for remote work or capability to work with client-provided BIM tools.

Responsibilities

Produce 2D CAD drawings and 3D Revit models across RIBA Stages 2-5.
Deliver technical detailing, construction drawings, and specifications.
Coordinate with structural, MEP and external consultants to resolve clashes.
Assist with planning applications, building regulations submissions, and tender packages.
Ensure drawings comply with UK Building Regulations and CAD/BIM protocols.
