Job summary

Red King Resourcing seeks an experienced Freelance Architect or Architectural Technologist to support UK studios on project deliverables. You will contribute to production packages, technical detailing, and planning submissions across RIBA Stages 2-5.

Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD is required, along with strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations. The role requires independent work and effective collaboration with studio teams, with hybrid/remote UK-based arrangements.

Qualifications

• Qualified Architect (ARB/RIBA) or Architectural Technologist (CIAT).
• Hands-on production experience using Revit and/or AutoCAD on live UK projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning processes, and construction detailing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and hit the ground running.
• Excellent communication skills and seamless collaboration with existing studio teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D CAD drawings and 3D Revit models across RIBA Stages 2-5.
• Deliver technical detailing, construction drawing packages, and specifications.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and external engineering consultants to resolve design clashes.
• Assist with planning applications, building regulations submissions, and tender packages.
• Ensure all drawing work complies with UK Building Regulations, national standards, and studio CAD/BIM protocols.
