Job summary

Calbarrie Compliance Services Ltd is seeking Fixed Wire Test Engineers to operate from home bases in the UK the North Yorkshire, Sheffield, Bristol or Northampton areas, with regional travel to surrounding sites. The role focuses on testing fixed wire installations on commercial sites and coordinating with clients and our Technical Manager.

You'll use our bespoke testing software, with ongoing opportunities to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification, C&G 2391 or equivalent, time served electrician/tester preferred.
• AM2 or NVQ Level 3 qualified.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• Proven commercial site testing experience, not domestic housing.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with current legislation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical periodic inspection and testing of fixed wire installations.
• Complete minor remedial works when required.
• Produce accurate NICEIC reports quality checked by Technical Manager.
• Work with Technical Manager and Operations team.
• Use bespoke testing software designed for speed and efficiency.
• Test across facilities management, retail, commercial, education and local authority sites.
• Identify improvements to testing software and processes.
