Job summary

55 Exec Search is seeking a Senior Security Architect to lead cloud security architecture engagements for clients in regulated environments. The role combines hands-on design with strategic advisory across Azure, AWS or GCP, identity, networks and monitoring.

You will guide technology change, embed security into projects from the outset and apply Zero Trust principles to protect enterprise data and systems. Remote-first with occasional travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience owning end-to-end security designs for enterprise environments.
• Strong cloud security design and implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture engagements translating business needs into robust designs.
• Assess architectures, identify gaps, evaluate trade-offs and recommend improvements.
• Design security controls across cloud platforms, IAM, networks, delivery and monitoring.
• Guide technology change and embed security into projects from the outset.
• Apply Zero Trust and defence-in-depth principles to protect systems and data.
• Present recommendations to stakeholders and relate design decisions to business risk.
• Collaborate with client teams to support implementation and ongoing architecture guidance.
