Qualifications

• Strong experience in MySQL, query tuning, schema design, and operations.
• Ability to manage and optimize high-availability MySQL environments.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and support high-availability MySQL environments across production systems.
• Optimize database performance through indexing and schema design.
• Manage upgrades, migrations, and failover with minimal downtime.

Skills

Strong MySQL experience – query tuning, replication, schema design, operations

Hands-on experience with DB monitoring tools (Percona Toolkit, PMM, Grafana, Prometheus)

Solid Linux fundamentals and comfort with networking concepts

Experience supporting databases for high-scale or production-critical systems

Strong communication and ability to partner effectively with engineering teams
