Job summary

Searchability NS&D is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer for a permanent, hybrid role in the North East region of the UK. You will join cross-functional client teams delivering secure cloud applications for public sector projects, building scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

The role supports remote-first work with monthly office attendance and client travel as needed. The ideal candidate has 4+ years AWS experience (6+ for senior), hands-on with Docker/Kubernetes, and strong infra-as-code

Qualifications

• Four+ years of professional AWS cloud experience for mid-level, or six+ for senior.
• Experience building and operating cloud applications in production.
• Strong skills in Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
• Terraform or CloudFormation with Ansible for config-as-code.

Responsibilities

• Work in cross-functional client teams to support public sector projects.
• Design, develop and operate secure cloud applications and internal platforms.
• Build reliable infrastructure, automation and CD pipelines.
• Communicate clearly with clients and mentor other engineers.
