Job summary

ATK Solutions is seeking a Contract Fire Risk Assessor to cover residential properties across the UK. The role offers home-based working with regional site visits, delivering risk assessments and practical fire safety advice in line with current legislation.

The ideal candidate holds Tier 2 or Tier 3 Fire Risk Assessor registration, has proven residential fire risk assessment experience, and can produce clear, compliant reports while managing their own workload.

Qualifications

• Registered as Tier 2 (Intermediate) or Tier 3 (Advanced) Fire Risk Assessor.
• Proven experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessments on residential properties.
• Strong understanding of current fire safety legislation and guidance.
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Professional and client-focused approach.
• Must pass a technical competency interview.
• Available three days per week on site.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Fire Risk Assessments across residential property portfolios.
• Carry out site inspections and provide practical fire safety recommendations.
• Deliver clear and compliant fire risk assessment reports.
• Identify solutions to fire safety and compliance issues.
• Liaise directly with clients and stakeholders on fire safety matters.
• Provide competent fire safety advice in line with current legislation and guidance.
• Support the preparation of fire safety documents, policies and procedures.
• Keep up to date with changes to legislation, standards and best practice.
