FinOps Weekly is seeking a skilled FinOps Analyst to drive cost efficiency within a large AWS environment. You will partner with Finance, Technology, and Delivery teams to forecast cloud spend, cost new products, and communicate ROI.

The role offers a fully remote arrangement and a chance to foster cost-aware culture across engineering squads. You will produce monthly cost reporting, translating detailed AWS usage into actionable insights and allocating OPEX by team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS services, pricing models, and cost optimization.
• Proven FinOps, cloud financial management, or cost accountability in DevOps.
• Strong analytical skills to translate cost data into clear insights.
• Proactive, self-starter with ability to engage stakeholders remotely.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, and ROI in projects/engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost control, optimisation, and visibility across AWS environment.
• Partner with Finance, Technology, and Delivery teams to forecast cloud spend.
• Cost new products and enhancements, tracking spend vs forecasts.
• Clearly communicate financial impact and ROI.
