Job summary

KBR Estates Intelligence is seeking a Field Surveying and Quality Manager to lead a rolling Building Condition Survey programme across England and Wales. You will manage a field team of surveyors, implement QA standards, and work with data specialists and schedulers to meet KPIs and client requirements.

The role requires strong management of internal staff and third-party suppliers, with field presence and collaboration with BI and Asset Management teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field surveying or QA programmes in FM or construction.
• Strong QA and HSE knowledge with a track record of improving delivery.
• Ability to manage technical specialists and coordinate with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Establish a national surveying capability; assist recruitment and training.
• Develop and embed standards for surveying work ensuring quality delivery.
• Define metrics, timescales and reporting with senior managers.
• Mentor field staff and apprentices; support skill development.
• Coordinate with Audit, Scheduling and BI teams on data delivery.
• Manage field team performance and collaborate with external suppliers.
