Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Estimator – Facades for a remote role. You will prepare detailed cost estimates and tenders for wall cladding, rainscreen and SFS projects across UK sites valued from £2m to £35m+.

The role requires strong ability to analyse drawings and specifications, obtain subcontractor quotes, and negotiate costs. You will liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams to produce competitive quotations with high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Estimator within facades.
• Experience with rainscreen cladding and/or recladding preferred.
• Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and tenders for facade and cladding projects.
• Analyse drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, negotiating costs.
• Identify project risks and ensure all costs are accounted for.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal estimating teams during the tender process.
• Work on projects valued between £2m–£35m+.
