Job summary

Co-op is seeking experienced estate planning consultants to cover locations across the UK. The role offers uncapped commission-based earnings and the flexibility to manage your own workload, with IT equipment provided by the company.

You’ll discuss wills, LPAs, trusts, and probate services with potential clients, often via video calls or local home visits. Successful candidates will have proven estate planning or will writing experience to IPW/SWW or be legally qualified through CILEX, plus

Qualifications

• Proven estate planning or will writing experience to IPW/SWW level or legally qualified via CILEX.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy with the ability to identify customer needs.
• Ability to convey complex legal information clearly to non-experts.
• Confident presenting with engaging audience interaction.
• Ability to consult, influence and negotiate with enthusiasm for products/services.
• IT literacy in remote settings using MS Office and adaptable to bespoke software.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Attend appointments generated by the company.
• Self-generate or gain referrals to create new business (target at least 50%).
• Discuss benefits of estate planning and related services (Wills, LPAs, Trusts, probate).
• Collaborate with Co-op Legal Services to draft documents.
• Deliver talks and seminars on later life legal products to community groups.
• Identify customer needs and take accurate instructions.
• Capture instructions using in-house Estate Planning Assistant software.
