Job summary

Ambis Resourcing in the United Kingdom is seeking an ERP Technical Implementation Consultant to join its implementation team. This role is fully remote with occasional travel to customer sites.

You will work with customers to gather requirements, design technical specifications, and develop solutions using SQL, Java, and JavaScript. The role includes delivering ERP enhancements, configuring workflows, writing reports, and providing technical training.

Qualifications

• Experience developing or customising ERP software in manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Strong JavaScript skills.
• Java experience preferred.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Confident in dealing directly with customers.
• Strong organisational and project-management skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Gather and define technical requirements with customers.
• Produce business analyses and technical specifications.
• Deliver ERP enhancements and bespoke customisations.
• Develop solutions using SQL, JavaScript and Java.
• Configure workflows and UI modifications.
• Update XML configuration files and write reports.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Develop and deliver technical training.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
• Advise customers on technical best practices.
• Manage several customer projects simultaneously.
