Job summary

ICON plc is a leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization seeking a Contract Manager for a home-based, international role. You will oversee the contracts lifecycle, negotiate agreements, and ensure regulatory compliance to support our clinical trial operations.

The role requires solid contract management experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work across global teams. Travel is approximately 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of contracts management experience in pharma/biotech/clinical research.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end contract management processes from drafting to negotiation with clients, vendors and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and project management to ensure alignment on terms.
• Provide guidance to project teams on contract matters and dispute resolution.
• Monitor contract performance and compliance, identifying risks and implementing mitigations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with policies.
