Job summary

Hexwired Recruitment is seeking an Embedded Linux Engineer for our Histon, Cambridgeshire client. You will work on embedded Linux kernel drivers and userspace software across a range of applications, delivering features from concept to manufacture.

The role requires 5+ years in embedded Linux or C++, experience with SoC devices and networking/wireless systems, and a collaborative team approach. This is a Greenfield project with a hybrid working model and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ commercial Embedded Linux or C++ experience targeting Embedded devices.
• Experience with SoC devices or latency-conscious products.
• Team experience in a collaborative environment.
• Interest in newer programming languages is desirable.
• Experience with networking products or wireless systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop Linux kernel drivers and userspace components for embedded devices.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver bespoke products.
• Work on a greenfield project from design through to manufacture.
• Hybrid role with a mix of on-site and remote work.
