Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electrical Compliance Auditor (NERS) for a fully remote role with client visits. The role offers a salary of £58,000–£62,000 plus a car allowance and benefits, with a 37.5-hour week and 25 days of holiday.

You will conduct independent assessments against NERS, BOPAS, ISO55001 and PAS128, working with ICPs, utility contractors and network operators to demonstrate compliance and drive improvements. Prior NERS experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within the electricity utility sector.
• Strong understanding of electrical network infrastructure, construction or maintenance activities.
• National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) experience.

Responsibilities

• Undertake remote and onsite assessments against utility sector standards, schemes and accreditation requirements.
• Evaluate management systems, operational processes, technical documentation and field activities.
• Assess compliance with industry regulations, client requirements and recognised best practice.
• Produce professional audit and assessment reports within agreed timescales.
